  Not impressed with Pottery Barn's return system. I have been waiting over two weeks now for money to go back to my bank account when I returned the item to the store. When I called about it I was told it could take up to 3-4 weeks for my refund to be returned and to check back then, that is not what it states on my return receipt.

  I cannot express enough how taken advantage, mistreated, violated and neglected my Fiance and I have felt dealing with a purchase dispute with Pottery Barn. We ordered a $3,500 couch from Pottery Barn to only find out that we were charged twice. They took our credit card number right when we ordered the couches back in May and then once they were delivered in August they charged us a 2nd time. $7,000 to come out of your account is a lot of money! Both our bank and Pottery Barn acknowledge that there was a mischarge of $3,500 but are still dealing with disputing the charge for over 5 months now. Somehow both the Bank and Pottery Barn blame each other for the charge but are not giving us the money that we deserve back. We have spend probably up to 5 hours on the phone with both Pottery Barn and our Bank and even on conference calls with them at the same time. It's unbelieve that a large corporation like Pottery Barn can do something like this, and worst of all it will probably go unnoticed and we probably will never see our $3,500 again. Our only option at this point is to go to small claims court, but even then, does little old me even stand a chance against a monstrosity company like Pottery Barn? I don't see how it's okay for a company of this size to STEAL $3,500 of our hard earned money while we're trying to plan a wedding. It's pretty disgusting and I feel absolutely violated.
